We would like to acknowledge everyone from our school that competed at the
NAGA Battle at the Beach in Wildwood on August 6th and 7th.
Tinh Tupey placed 3rd in the No-Gi Intermediate division and also
competed in the No-Gi Advanced Division winning his first match and losing his
second match by advantage. This is a big accomplishment for Tinh
considering he has only been training for nine months. Tinh has many more
great things ahead of him.
Dave Trapanse placed 4th in the No-Gi Intermediate division. He
had an extremely large division with 18 people competing in his division that
day. Dave his been training non-stop since he started at Jersey Shore BJJ
ten months ago. He is an extremely good student and humble at that.
Greg Soto placed 1st in the No-Gi Intermediate division. Greg is
an extremely good athlete. He trains hard and also brings a good amount of
incite to our school with his wrestling experience. When he comes in to
train, he trains hard and brings nothing but a good attitude.
Scott Spencer placed 2nd in the Gi White Belt division. Scott
has just recently started competing and from what we here he enjoys it very
much. He always has a willingness to learn and is committed to his
training. Scott is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.
There is a Grapplers Quest tournament in Bayonne next month and we
look forward to acknowledging all of our students that compete also.
We also would not like to leave out the students in the background. If
not for them we would not have a school and no one would have the support and
training partners to we can improve everyday. We thank everyone for
their hard work and great attitudes.
We are a school for everyone. All are welcome with open arms here at
Jersey Shore BJJ.
